I have the DVIator and mini display port to dvi but it didnt work. I researched and it said only apples will work, so I ordered that and am awaiting its arrival. So I have the mini display port to dvi to APPLE dvi to adc connection. Hopefully this should work. Because a lot of the monitors for sale online, indicate that the power cords dont come with it; and I just wanted to know if the cord that has the dvi adapter on it is permanently attached into the monitor? This way I can just buy the monitor, and buy the power brick and ac cord seperately. Instead of searching for all the cords online.

Thanks again! I assume you are talking about the aluminum 20' display. It uses DVI, so you wouldn't need a DVI to ADC adapter. The display has a permanently attached cable with four plugs at the end: FW400 - needed only for the FireWire ports on the display USB - needed for the display's USB ports and for computer control of brightness DVI-D - video Power - plugs into the power adapter (24 VDC) The power adapter has two sockets: 24 VDC and AC power. The AC power cord plugs into the power adapter.
